The Global Automotive Aftermarket Symposium is pleased to announce the launch of its new website.  The website was updated and enhanced so that young people looking for information on earning scholarships to pursue careers in the automotive aftermarket can easily find the information they require online. 

Started in 1996, the Global Automotive Aftermarket Symposium has quickly established itself as the leading educational event in the automotive aftermarket. This annual two-day event gathers industry leaders to hear strategic presentations about the future of the aftermarket.

All of the net proceeds of the Global Automotive Aftermarket Symposium are used to fund scholarships for students pursuing careers in the automotive aftermarket. Since the program began, more than 1,400 scholarships have been awarded.

While all students are encouraged to apply, first priority in awarding scholarships is given to those pursuing a career in the automotive aftermarket, and second priority is given to sons and daughters of industry families.

Students who receive a scholarship and begin a career as an automotive aftermarket technician are eligible for a matching grant upon graduation from their program and after completing six months of employment in the automotive aftermarket.
