Gates Corporation funds a number of scholarships each year.
In 2012, Gates awarded 10 $1,000 scholarships.
The eligibility criteria are identical to the general GAAS scholarship criteria: Applicants must be in or entering a full time post-seconary program at an accredited college or university or an ASE/NATEF certified automotive vocational school. Applicants must be planning a career in the automotive aftermarket.
Gates prefers applicants training to become automotive technicians.
